The Blanket Landscapes draw on New Zealand’s long history with wool and its deep connection to the land. These works feature plaid wool blankets found in homes across Aotearoa, crossing class lines and wrapped in nostalgia.

Alongside these are paintings where women are the focal point, wrapped in, dressed in, or resting on blankets. Here, the blanket becomes a symbol of safety, comfort, and healing - creating spaces of support, rest, and quiet empowerment.

Together, these works explore how something as familiar as a blanket can speak to identity, belonging, and care.
